Refuse Client Policy
Shilena Nails & Spa – Refuse Client Policy
For the health, safety, and comfort of all our clients and staff, Shilena Nails & Spa reserves the right to respectfully refuse or discontinue service under the following circumstances:
1. Health & Safety Concerns
• Visible signs of contagious conditions (e.g., fungal infections, warts, open wounds, lice, severe rashes).
• Recent injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions that may make services unsafe.
• Suspicion of drug or alcohol impairment.
2. Hygiene & Cleanliness
• If a client’s personal hygiene poses a risk to staff or other clients.
3. Conduct & Behaviour
• Disrespectful, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour toward staff or other clients.
• Requests for services beyond our scope, training, or professional boundaries.
4. Policy & Compliance
• Refusal to follow spa policies (e.g., cancellation rules, late arrival, or refusal to complete required forms).
• Failure to disclose relevant health information before treatment.
We truly value every client, and these guidelines exist to ensure that everyone enjoys a safe, comfortable, and professional spa experience.
When service must be declined, it is never personal — it is a matter of care, safety, and integrity.
